I am in the process of parting out my Freightliner tractor. I have a guy coming tomorrow for the fifth wheel. Well, I figured I'll try this new Smith "bulkhead" tip I have. I think there's something wrong with the tip. I couldn't get it to run right or cut. So I just got out the Arcair, which I should have done in the first place. Again, EVERY time I use this thing I'm just amazed how well it works. And AGAIN, I just have to start using it more often. I gouged each bolt, then punched it out and went on to the next. So much better than putting all that heat to it with a torch. I ran 5/16" carbons at 7 out of 10 on the Commander, so I guess 380A - 400A."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
