Pipeline Work across the US - Jordan Cove LNG and Alaskan Natural Gas Pipeline

Hey guys.   Just curious how many of you are working on pipelines or shutdowns.  Have you heard of any more projects on the horizon?There has been a huge push for 2 LNG pipelines for many years. The Alaskan Gas Pipeline 1715 miles (or 800 miles depending on how the total pipeline is built in Canada) of natural gas pipe starting in Prudoe Bay Alaska.  Turning into Canada and ending somewhere near the Kenai Peninsula. The other is the Jordan Cove LNG Plant proposed back in 2004.  Shut down 2x by the Feds as recently as December 2016 is now getting a second chance to be reviewed by the Trump administration Both projects are being pursued by congressmen / congresswomen from multiple states to get a fresh look by Trump. If one or both are successful there will be a lot of jobs for many years ahead. I know there has been LNG pipeline leaks in Alaska recently.  But doesn't that mean the infrastructure needs updating from talented people like us I don't know about you but the idea of these deals getting a second chance gets me excited for anyone who wants to work. Reply:Does anyone remember back in 2008-2009 the Local 488 in Alberta, CA was paying $55 an hour to get Pipefitters up to the work camps?  Also Contractors we're offering up to $65 an hour welding plus $35 an hour for the rig. Reply:I thought El Trump had approved a couple of big pipelines that had been held up by Greenies for years? I would have thought things would have been looking up in the industry.
Reply:He did.  That was the Dakota Access Pipeline. He basically cut all the red tape to push it through.  That was for OIL transported from Canada.  These will be for Liquid Natural Gas.  A LNG pipeline in Alaska that ties into Canada.  Terminates in Kenai where large LNG ships will ideally transport it to China and other countries.   That was part of why President XI stopped in Alaska on the way home to China.   To talk about LNG exports among other things.  I have a strong feeling at least the Alaska Pipeline and LanG terminal will get pushed through.  The other terminal in Jordan cove would be a great idea now while construction costs are low.“I'm going to do the thing that God put Galen Beasley on this Earth to do:Have Salon quality hair and weld.Nothing like a good cup of coffee and the smell of 6010 burning in the morning. 971-204-3444 cell API ASME Structural NDT and Repair
