Good evening all. New to the forum, with an issue. I just acquired the above said unit, and am trying to set it up for some bodywork on my Yukon XL. We tried to tack some thin 1/8's plate with it, currently has .023 wire in it which is some thin stuff! Even on high power (4) we couldn't get any penetration. Thinking there may be an internal issue with this unit which was why it was shelved. I watched some you tube videos and believe the rectifier would be receiving 30v from the transformer however I am more like 24 to 25v. All diodes look good. Thanks for the advice and direction! |
