Wiring 50 amp outlet with long run

Hi all,this is my first post, so I would appreciate being steered in the right direction if there's anything I can improve for future threads. I recently bought a Lincoln AC 225 buzzbox, and I'm looking to wire an outlet for it. My intended work area is about 75 feet away from the breaker box (through a protected indoor crawlspace). My intention is to plug an extension cord into this outlet and weld ~30 feet away. I fully intend to upgrade to an AC/AD tombstone when one comes around, and to bigger and better machines when the time comes, so I'd like my system to be capable of handling those. I have a couple questions on specifications for the electrical components:- Are two hots w/ ground enough, or should I run a neutral and install the four pronged 50 amp outlet? - Considering the wiring will be protected from water and extreme temperatures, do I need a gfci or just a regular breaker? What about conduit?- As for wire, should I go for SOOW, Romex, individual 6 AWG wires, or something else? - Are there significant differences to be aware of when wiring a welding outlet when compared to other 50 amp systems?I have done my best to read other posts on this topic, but I thought this could clear some of my confusion and act as an introduction to the community.
