Alright folks, I have a few questions for ya. I bought an equipment lot a while back that included (4) older welders. I been working on these things off and on during fall and winter months.First one I got running is the Lincoln SA 250. Perkins Diesel power. Runs good and welds. Second one is a Lincoln (Lincwelder) DC 250 AS. Wisconsin V4 Gas power. Runs good and welds.Third one is a Lincoln SA 200-162 Continental in-line 4 gas power. Runs good and welds.Fourth one is a Miller. I am not real sure what size it is because, I have not had time to look into it yet. The Lincoln's I have the questions about. I hear about Red face, Black face, Short hood, Long hood. How can I tell the diff? Keep in mind , I am not a welder. I am a mechanic some retired

. I just buy, repair, sell. I am new here so, if the site will allow me to post a few pictures I can if needed .

Still searching for the serial number.I will order the correct faceplate for it soon. When I get back to working on it and I can catch the weather right I will get a few pictures. |
