Hey everyone. I just picked one of these fine machines and currently running into an issue
Reply:I know this may not be the best place to post this but i am new to the site so please forgive me. If anyone can help me figure out why the feeder would run constantly unless I unplug wire 31 from the 2t/4t switch I would love to have your input. Current setup is an XMT360 and the 22A.

Reply:Hey there. I don't believe that this machine has this feature. I do not see S3 on the diagram ot anything on the machine of that nature.
Reply:Wire 31 according to the diagram should run from RC 4-2 TO The jog purge switch. However on this machine that wire is coming from RC4-1 Does anyone know if this is a problem?

Reply:Just to be safe I checked and continuity is normal
Reply:First need to know if you have two push buttons One for inch and one for purge or do you have a single toggle switch that is momentary up or down and center off. If you have the toggle switch and the wires have been plugged on wrong the is a good chance the pcb was fried. Plus that switch has jumpers inside the case. if you measure from center terminal to top or bottom one is closed and the other is open. check the other side and it will be opposite. The open and close terminal go corner to corner.This way the switch will work if turned upside down. You must keep wire 31 and 32 on one side and 1, 35 and 36 on the other.36 has to on the center. My wiring diagram puts 36 and 32 on center. 31 to open should be lower right. top closed  is open.1 is top left and 35 is bottom left. Miller calls this a triple throw switch even though it looks like a standard double throw switch.Serial number would tell me how old and which feeder you have and what diagram to use.I have replaced a lot of pcbs in these units because of miswired switches. as long as wires are on the correct side of the switch it will not damage the pcb if place wrong. but put one wire on the wrong side and pcb dies.
