This lead was included in a small inverter stick welder ,been sitting in my shop couple of years used it yesterday and could of been shop fire, setting EP 115 amp, found out lead is copper coated aluminum, this stuff corrodes to a white powder just from sitting "junk"

Reply:Use only copper flex cables.The copper plate will flake off then down to smaller aluminum wire. Most transformers today on secondary side is aluminum only but on flex and works great. Dave
