Dear Welding web, Im new to this comunity! So first of all: Hi every body !I just bought an old AC/DC Lincoln Idealarc 250 with jammed polarity switch!Is there a substance that I can use to clean the switch?
Reply:You can try a soft wire brush or scotch brite pad. but don't get your hopes up to high you will probably have to replace it. Find the code number on the front plate and go to lincoln's wed site and look up the parts manuals. enter as a guest and get the part number. there are two different switches, handle to the right and handle to the left.If you end up with the wrong one you just remove a bolt and turn the handle the other way. put bolt back in. |
