The title says it all. I can really use some help to get this running. The unit was flooded in the back of a pickup when It stalled in a creek crossing the water rose and get the welding unit. It was not running at the time. I could really use some direction from experts. All outlets work properly and weld lugs read 60 volts dc it will stick a weak arc and the arc force knob works. The oil light does not come on and the fuel gauge is full of water. The serial number plate is missing is there another spot to get this? The pot that controls arc seems to be working when disconnected from circuit it reads 10k ohms when in ciruit it reads 668 and will go from 0 to 6 volts dc

Reply:ESAB can't find their butt with both hands. Contact Mike Huelsman in Ohio. ( forgot the name of his company ) 419 953-5964 He might be able to offer info the TA Engine Drives. Some still had a lifetime warranty on the Stator until ESAB got the gift of Victor and slashed and burned until Victor was killed off. Good Luck !!!
