I see Lance ( Chucke2009 ) is peddling the Longevity line again.

He must need the money now that he's on his own out there in Texas.

When you watch his youtube video when he takes the regulator out of the pack it is all bent, then it is new again "amazing"

I bet this won't stay on here long.

Reply:You mean the cover for one of the indicators having come off?  They're just little twist on/offs.  The faceplate looked a little bent too, but shouldn't effect use if it doesn't stop the needle from moving.
Reply:Oh yeah, about 3:30 into it. Magic!

Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR"

Reply:No shielding on the power cable, not a good thing

I hope they put a disclaimer in the manual. Can you say lawsuit

And if you can use a Miller or SSC foot pedal then why does the factory pedal have a amp adjuster knob on it

Reply:I like his videos. I'm glad he gets paid. I'm sure he needs money. A 20 year old kid just starting out? I've never met someone that young who didn't need money. I like that kid. I got a lot of great information from that guy. Unboxing videos? What can you say. Click on another video.

Reply:I had something nicely written out but I am sure this thread would be cut right after. Anyways I will keep it simple! Don't blame Lance or look at him as peddling, he just decided to be a salesman for companies who give away free inexpensive items and in return yield massive sales off sheeple. The company has the last laugh , Remember that ! People are always going to be sheep no matter what. Anyone over 30 should know this already

Reply:Lance will ask a question pertaining to welding then a couple of days later make a how to video on the subject, has all the wanabee's fooled.REAL TRUCKS DON'T HAVE SPARK PLUGS

Reply:For a post like this, I would ignore all posters who have not DIRECTLY used the equipment they are commenting on.  I love my MigWeld 140.  I use it almost exclusively for solid wire welding on projects 1/8" or less in thickness, which is ~50% of my projects.  And if I ever had an equipment problem, even if minor, that was when Simon took care of me.  But I've had minor or major problems with all of the welders I've owned (Lincoln, Everlast, Hobart, Longevity) and they all took care of me.  So personally, it does not matter to me if I have a problem with a durable-good manufactured product---what matters to me is what the maker does in response to a problem---that's what matters!!  And Lincoln, Everlast, Hobart, Longevity have all been there for me at one time or another.  My .02.  (BTW, I like my MigWeld140 so much, I'm looking into upgrading to the more powerful MigWeld 200S, because I just recently now have access to a 220V outlet at home where I rent from and also a generator that I recently purchased that has an OEM 240V welding outlet.)Last edited by Agape Guy; 04-30-2015 at 02:19 PM.Agape GuyEverlast Power I-MIG 200 (dual voltage)Everlast PowerArc 200 stickHarbor Freight Titanium 125 Easy FluxHypertherm Powermax 30Way too many power tools
