Hi all,I just received my Everlast Everlast Power I-Mig 275P Unit. This being the first unit I've owned with so many different settings (and not just settings for wire feed speed and volts), Im finding it hard to get my head around it all, and actually getting anything near decent welds.Im only welding steel at the moment, and that being only .8mm to 1.5mm steel.. Can anyone assist me with a good starting point with the settings so i can work my way from there?I'm using .6 solid wire. Many thanks in advance.Bos.
Reply:use this for my multi process everlast ...syng: 3/32 thick junk
1/8 steel...use this setting:
That is a lot of welder, for $1800Charl
Reply:Go here and download the Power i MIG 200 chart and use it for thinner stuff. The stuff you are welding should fall in that category. But I'd personally stay away from .6 wire and use .030". And don't worry with pulse for now. On this unit set your arc force to 70%. Also download the manual from the site.https://www.everlastgenerators.com/s...33b71ac913.pdfEsab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
