Looking for a torch and I see NAPA has a Firepower 350 torch outfit in this months sales flyer. Is that a good deal for $239? What model of Victor is it compatible with as far as replacement tips and rosebuds? Has anyone had any experience with the Firepower torches? Thanks much
Reply:That seems like a pretty good deal, Amazon has it for about the same price. It is basically a heavy-duty line made by Victor.. Uses 1-101 cutting tips, and W-series welding nozzles. And MFA-type rosebud heating nozzles. Well those I mentioned are for Acetylene as the fuel, but the kit says it works for other fuel gases as well. You'd just have to change the tips and what not.Last edited by Oscar; 04-05-2020 at 10:35 AM.

Reply:The Firepower 350 is Victors Import China torch. That doesn't make it bad. I have one. The deal with it is that the handle will take the heavy duty cutting attachment or the medium duty so you only need one handle. The Handle is Aluminum with the brass tubes inside and it fits nicely in your hand instead of just being round. The only complaints were that the tip nut screwed inside the head, no built in flash arrestors and the red regulator knob turned pink in the sun.Thermal Arc 320SP ( Lorch )Cobra PythonsThermal Arc 300 AC/DC ( Sanrex )ESAB 301i AC/DC ( Lorch )Thermal Arc 161STL ( WTL )Thermal Arc 190S ( Sanrex )Cut Master 82, 42.
