any insight on swapping american bosch off of 1950 short  hood over to my 1961 red face ? any reason they wont interchange?

Reply:no just week spark didnt want to fire plus the american bosch has been rebuilt ,turns out wasnt getting fuel  carb rebuild and clean plug wires popped right off been sitting for 5  years
Reply:i have a american bosch on my 46 shorthood , dam cap and rotor are expesive  for that magneto
