Diesel engine on 1953 DC 250 AS

Hi all,Just picked up a diesel powered1953 DC2 250 AS  model today.  It also has a compressor on it.  Everything turns over okay, newer filters so somebody had cared for it.  Best part of all, it was free!Are there any manuals available or information for that matter on the diesel engine as well as the welder itself?CheersTim

Reply:Well Tim you have a Frankenwelder there. The DC250AS machines were made from 1952 to 1962. They all had a V4 Wisconsin. I have a 1962. I'll see if I have a copy of the manual.
