Millermatic 200 just bought

Just picked up a Millermatic 200. From what I have heard these are good machines. A few questions.The fan does not come on right away. Saw a sticker on the machine that says thermostatically controlled. How long or hot does the machine need to be? I only got to test weld with it a few mins before I bought it.Also it has a twecko gun and the trigger is finicky. Had to hit it a few times before it worked Lastly the wire seemed to slip on the feeder rollers. Had to tighten it almost all the way. I believe its on the correct wire/roller but will double check. How do I change the roller if its not ? Reply:Lots of times you can take the trigger apart and clean the contacts. As far as wire slipping, you probably need to change the liner and make sure the wire spool is clean, or put a new one on. Also, make sure the wire size matches what is stamped on the portion of the roller you see once installed.  You have to work them hard to get the fan to come on.

Age generally doesn't matter with welders. Being a very popular Miller, parts and support shouldn't be a problem.
