I bought this old and very heavy milling vise cheap. Paid €60 for it which is roughly $70.200mm jaws and 250mm jaw opening. Swivelbase with degree scale. It fits nicely on my floor model drill press table. The base has 2 removable keys that fit in 18mm T-slots, but my drill press table has 16mm T-slots so I removed the keys and put the base diagonally on the table so I could use my own T-nuts to secure it.The vise is in very good condition. Very happy with this find.

Reply:Very nice deal.. I should look around for a cheaper vice for my drill press, and other units.. In the mean time just have to go back, and forth between machines.. Only have to tram the mill though..

Reply:My son got a Yuasa 3-way tilt vise for free at work.  I think it's the 5" model which weighs 96 pounds.  I don't think they make them anymore, but clones run about $500.  He also got a couple regular 6" milling vises and a huge dividing head among other things.  Looks like this:

Reply:For the time being I made some cheap quick fix parallels out of 50x5mm flat stock to support the workpiece. Might get some decent ones later.I checked the level of the vise and the parallels against the quill with a square and all looks spot on. Precise enough for my hobby tinkering anyway.

Reply:Sold my mill a few weeks ago. The buyer didn't want to buy the 4x4 mill vice with it so I will keep it for the drill press.
