I have a bobcat 225g that dies when striking a arc or load applied to generator. It may die instantly or run a few minutes at the most then die. Like someone turned off the kill switch. With no load it runs good. Carb is clean, new air filter and plugs. Good fuel delivery. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Reply:I had a similar problem with my 225 Plus after I got it. I did a full R&R service including replacing the fuel lines. After the service it would kill out when under load. I discovered the fuel line between the pump and carb was collapsing due to the sharp bend and short length. The line I used was more pliable than the one it replaced. I made the hose longer and rerouted it a bit and that fixed the problem. You might think you don't have a fuel issue, but it does sound like it. Sent from my moto e6 using Tapatalk |
