Looking at one of these at an auction, finishes in about 15hrs.Can't find much info on them, what's the generator output in kva? Has a 3 phase plug and 3 x 240v (it's here in Aust)They aren't listed on the Lincoln site to get the manual. Pics on the listing don't come up on their site and they haven't got back to me, as it's a sunday here right now.Also looked at a Miller Big Blue 400D today, old machine and only has 3kva output and not able to add a remote wire feed either. Engine driven welders are pretty expensive here, he wants $1500 for it, but that is what he was asking about 5 years ago when he first advertised it, i was thinking maybe $800.
Reply:By the serial number It was made in Australia in 2020 march.The code number does not lead to anything on Lincoln USA site.Try contacting Lincoln Australia for any information.My guess is was made only for your market and not world wide use.
Reply:Cheers, but it is definitely not a 2020 model.It had a broken knob on it too, unsure if it affected the welder at all, the risk of buying at auction though.I only went to $2500 on it, it sold for $4000 or $4100.I can get a Miller Bobcat with under 3000hrs for under $5k, yeah less power but newer and also ac/dc |
