I have a Weldanpower 250 G-9 Pro. Running it today so I can use it on my sons property this weekend and the engine let loose. It has an Onan 18 horsepower engine. It still runs somewhat on 1 cylinder. Pulled both plugs to run a compression check and 1 cylinder has 125 psi and the other is at zero. I'm assuming it broke a connecting rod( as I did here a rattle in the engine while it was running) or there is a hole in the piston. My question is should I rebuild or replace with a Honda or Briggs and Straton. I know parts are some what expensive and hard to find for the Onan, but on the other hand replacing with a more modern V twin presents its own challenges. Should I just cut my loses and scrape it? Kevin
