I just realized after buying my IM 230 that they seem to be discontinuing it for an upcoming IM 240. It looks like the MM 252. I don't regret my purchase, just a little bummed the 240 is rated 30-280 amps. Anyone know much about it?
Reply:If your machine is for home use, I doubt your going to need more top end power than what the 230 offers. If the 240 has similar arc characteristics to the 230, for home use the main advantage the 240 would provide over the 230 is level of voltage adjustment |
