Bought this table at an auction near me. 4x8x1/2" top with 3 1/2" x 1/4" legs and rails. Picked it up for $175. Just need to clean it up a bit and weld on some casters as I need to be able to move it. It was a lot of fun getting it off the trailer into the garage. I also need to stay away from these auctions...LOL

Reply:With cost of steel today I think you got a good buy. Look around the web and find the ones with steel wheels and zerks. It's what I put on mine and love 'em. If your backs like mine you might think about adding some length to the legs. My table is about 36" high. I made square pads with matching bolt holes to the casters, welded the pads on and bolted up the casters.Ol' Stonebreaker  "Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes"Hobart G-213 portableMiller 175 migMiller thunderbolt ac/dc stick Victor O/A setupMakita chop saw
Reply:Wow congrats. Great score. Plus two on the steel casters with grease zerks.

Reply:x3 on the steel castors with grease fittings.... I have to fixed ones at one end, and a peg to catch the floor jack on the other. Stays put when I'm working and cuts your wheel expense in half.250 amp Miller DialArc AC/DC StickF-225 amp Forney AC Stick230 amp Sears AC StickLincoln 180C MIGVictor Medalist 350 O/ACut 50 PlasmaLes
Reply:Just picked up the steel wheels.  This is supposed to be a welding table but it looks like they had the rookie do some of this..

Couple other things I picked up at the auction..Drill press, so happy to find out it was 1 phase-220. Don't need a phase converter now.Budgit 2 ton lift with power trolley. It was $20 but way more than I need... just no one out bid me.. looks like off to e-bay..

Reply:For $20 I’d keep the hoist.  Nice drill press too.Lincoln, ESAB, Thermal Dynamics, Victor, Miller, Dewalt, Makita, Kalamzoo.  Hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting tools.
Reply:Nice deal. As for the hoist, if it's single phase it should sell pretty quick. I would put it in Facebook Marketplace and Craiglist too. Facebook Marketplace is really becoming popular. You can see the sellers or buyers profile and usually  location. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Reply:@billwood I don’t know your shop situation but you could also consider using a pallet jack to move your table

You would only require crossmembers connecting the legs.
