I'm shopping for a new mig gun for my 211i. I'd like a 15' cable. I'm getting confused on which ones will fit my welder. Been looking at the benards. Can anyone point me in the right direction or share a link to one? Thanks
Reply:I put a Lincoln magnum 200 on mine.https://bakersgas.com/products/linco...035-045-k497-1Or you can get the Magnum Pro 200 https://bakersgas.com/products/lincoln-k2950-2; different consumables with a screw on nozzle instead of slip on. Or you can get a pro gooseneck to convert the older one later. Nice lightweight gun, smoother feeding and the 15' reach is great! Use this back end https://bakersgas.com/products/linco...adapted-k466-2Cut the two lead wires and put some female spade connectors onto them, them they will plug into the gun. That backend will also fit powermigs and Vulcans as well. After using a multimatic with a Bernard gun, I might go that route too, but I don't have knowledge if you choose that path. I chose the Magnum because it was the best deal I could find 5 years ago. But the Magnum (and Pros) do fit nicely in My hand anyway.Last edited by eclipse; 06-13-2021 at 11:46 AM.
Reply:Does the adapter take place of the guns backend or go between it and the machine?
Reply:Just a tweco 2/4 back-end for the Thermal. Just the back pin is different between the different setups.. The older style gun is just standard #14 tweco ft. end, and generally way more available then anything Lincoln sells for the pro.. It really is a great gun overall .Esab/Lorch ET-220iEsab 160i caddyThermal LM-200 Lincoln feedersThermal Pee-Wee 85sThermal 60i- 3phase /RPC powered (Beast)Thermal Drag-gun 35CINE 1500 Klutch 140i
