Switzerland made, Optrel-Galaxy model w/#10 shade. I recently took a spatter hit to the inside of my Auto-darkening, Arc one ,brand helmet right in my field of vision on the glass part of lense. So I will be in the market for a new helmet. This one appears to have the same headgear/shell as the big buck Optrel-Satellite model. The Galaxy comes in at a whopping 28 bucks-so before I drop 300 bones I will live with this awhile and see if I have finally found some comfortable head gear. Reply:I use the speedglass 9000x with good luck in most areas. In tight dark places (boilers) regular hoods must be used

Reply:Might seem like a dumb question, but why can't the manufacturer repair the helmet that ook the splatter hit?Appreciation Gains You Recognition-
