Reply:You may try adjusting shade and mine has a delay adjustment, if yours does you may need to adjust it as well.EquipmentLincoln 200SATrailBlazer 275MillerMatic 252Hypertherm Powermax 600
Reply:There was an article that I read on http://www.millermotorsports.com/mboard/ where a guy used an expencive photo light meter to compair hoods. You can make your own pretty easy with a volt meter and a small solar pannel. Just compare your hood under light and a regular one with a 10 or 11 shade lens and compairthe two readings.Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.
Reply:THATS INTERESTINGWITH THE SOLAR PANEL.AS FAR AS ADJUSTING IT I'VE ALREADY GOT IT AT 12.5 SHADE, A VERY LONG DELAY, AND MAX SENSITIVITY
Reply:Toyota,Try shortening delay. Also, shade setting depends machine settings. all processes. The user manual for the hood will get you in the ball park. Fine tune from there. Hope this helps.moe1942 |
