I was wondering if anyone could help to steer me in the right direction when it comes to welding stainless steel with a lincon pro MIG 140. Do I need to use gas? Any help/advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Reply:Yes you will have to use gas. it is a special mix for stainless. you will also need to get the right stainless wire for what the alloy you are working with. other than that it should weld just like carbon steel.
