Need help finding a welder manual

Hi!  My father-in-law (82 years young) has found a Linde 230 Welder (can't find a date on the thing) and everything looks to be in operating order.  BUT, he does not know how to use this particular machine and so I have been commissioned to find a manual.  I can't even find Linde!  Any ideas where to get a copy of this manual?  Thanks.
Reply:Hi pasd,Linde has been out of business for a loooooong time, but it sounds like ya'll have made a great find, unless someone has one in an old shoe box you more than likely will not find a manual, If you can post a picture of it, I'm sure we can get up and running. Good Luck.....

Reply:Hi pasd, Old machines like that are hard to find in good shape. I have a HDA300 and there will be a lot of things go from my shop before that does...  Have you cleaned the inside out?  If so, lets get it going....plug it in, cut it on, see if the fan runs.
Reply:This is going to be fun.  First let me explain that my father-in-law lives three hours away so your instructions to me get passed on to him; some lag time there.  But I will ask about if he has cleaned it on the inside yet; I think so but not sure.  Thanks so much.  By the way, I found a place - Arc Products - that has some manuals of some of Linde's welders and we are trying to sort that out too.  I am hopeful.  I'll be in touch.
Reply:Hi psad,Just be sure and tell him, there are some things (for lack of a better word) that hold some juice and could shock him. Just blow it out with some air and don't touch any thing. I like the old machines, they don't have all that LED stuff that could go bad, and cost a million dollars just to get the machine to cut on. let us/me know how it goes, and good luck.....
Reply:Robin Hood, Sorry to bother you but i just got my hands on a HDA 300, i think the same one or model that you have. Was wondering if you give me some info on it. IE maybe a manual or where (if any) i could get parts. Or any other tid bits about this good ol workhorse linde. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
