Balled or pointed. I have a small Craftsman belt sander with 320 grit I use to sharpen tungsten. Chucked up in a drill turning low rpm it will give you an excellent point very quickly.

Reply:you should have a grinder or belt sander just for tungeston and tungeston only...using the same grinding wheel or belt for everyday use is not recomended..you need a belt/wheel just for tungeston because everything else you sand/grind will contaminate the wheel/belt...and then you contaminate the tungeston even before you use it ...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Ive made a tungeston sharpner using a piece of 1/4" ss tubing and a piece of stainless heliarc wire. Works best with a 4" grinder but will work on a bench grinder.. |
