HH180 Regulator question

I just picked up a HH180 and have a question. Reading threw the instruction book, (like I usually dont do.) On page 14 it says not to use the Argon/ Mixed gas regulator with CO2 and to get the optional regulator to use CO2. My question is Can I use a Argon CO2 mix with that valve? Or do I have to get another valve to use any type of CO2? I have no problem buying a new valve. I just don't want to mess up the one that came with the welder.Drivesector
