Reply:As I recall it's plastic filler rod and a hot air gun. Never done it myself, but I recall reading about it as a repair procedure for motorcycle fairings back in the day.Kalroy"It's all about the OODA Loop."
Reply:what do ya want to kno, how to? who does ?, where to buy? its using hot air,or a gun like a hot glue gun, its melting the plastic then fusing it together. auto body- repair places do it. can be bought at online tool stores or in body repair supplyers.

Reply:There is an article in either Home Shop Machinst or Machinist Workshop. The author was pleased with his HF plastic welder. Main point was he used a router speed control to throttle the heat.DennisThermal Arc 185-TSWMillermatic Challenger 172VictorO/AAtlas Craftsman 12 by 24 LatheEsab PCM-875Wholesalem Tool Mill-Drill
