I am looking for companies that sell pre-fabricated small parts like d-rings, loops, hooks, hinges, stake pockets, etc. Sometimes its easier and cheaper to purchase this stuff rather then spend hours heating and bending or buying an expensive machine. Anyhelp would be appreciated.
Reply:You can find some interesting stuff at this site:http://www.smallparts.com/Might not be what you're looking for, but worth a glance.- John
Reply:I also think this site looks interesting, although I've never tried them:http://emachineshop.com/You download their cad software, then you can have them machine your custom part in very small quantities.Edit: Ok I just looked at the site closer, and they say most stuff starts at $150 for machine setup, then a small dollar amount per-part. So it ain't exactly cheap.
Reply:Check;www.shopwagner.comLots of ornamental stuff and ability to order custom details. Mostly architectural details - railing and stuff.I just got their catalog.Mike
Reply:Search for trailer parts or trailer supply on google, there are a few places that sell parts for making trailers and such I've found in the past. I dont remember the names of any of them now, but I'm sure you'll find some.
Reply:Try King Metals: This link says it all, and they also will send you a catalog. http://kingmetals.com/
