I'm switching from Innershield 211NR to 232 to meet new seismic criteria.Can anyone give me some tips on how to run this wire?Running 3/8 full pen verts.Thanks

Reply:Lincoln NR232. It's been a few years since I welded with this, but from memory you have to keep one eye on the weld pool and one eye on the slag. If you leave the slag behind you get porosity. Easy when you get used to the characteristics of the wire. I also remember changing goosenecks when changing from 311 to 232.
