Probably a very stupid question, but... Wondering what the dickens is happening to the other side of my steel plates. Setting a good bead, and when I turn it over it looks like the scale is separating from the metal (powdery-ish). Wipes off easily, but just looks strange. What is it? Is it just the heat from TIG separating the scale/debris?Just curious.ThermalArc 185MillerMatic 180 w/ AutosetVictor Cutskill Oxy/AcetyleneThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38and spite!
