1st class welders. Aprox National rates?

Hello I am an apprentice currently serving my time in Perth Australia at AGC.When I complete my 1st Class Welders apprenticeship, Im thinking of traveling.  Just wondering what the rates are around the globe for this profession?Working in West Australia at AGC, I have noticed that the welders work for $38-40 in a shop. Working away from home they will make $45-60 per hour $AUS.What have you found?

Reply:Do a google search jobs and the country you are interested in.  You should get some idea of types of job available.

Reply:Yep Im gonna milk it. Aparently AGC have the work for the next 5-10 years. Im gonna get through my fast track app ASAP!
