Can it be done? If so how? Also, what would you use and would you have to be a expert to make it work? TIA, Wireburner
Reply:The pot metal of today could be any one of a wide range of alloys of aluminum, zinc, tin, and who knows. Another widely used term would be 'die cast', without specifying one singular metal. A commonly used pot metal is aluminum/zinc alloy.
Reply:J.B. Weld
Reply:I found this on the web. They say it can be done, I will let you know in a couple weeks.
Reply:Maybe braze but not weld.Favorite right now is a Miller Syncro 200.Tons of tools and I blame at least one of them when things don't go right.
