Welding Curtain/Screens....??

Can anyone offer some advice on selecting a welding curtain/screen?  I', looking for something like a 6 x 6, or there abouts.  I want to protect items in my shop from my path of destruction while welding and grinding.  Duck or 14 mil. vinyl?  Thanks.......All Good Medicine,Crow
Reply:I think Harbor Fright has a fibreglass blanket that you could use. There are no moving parts in it so it should be ok---

Reply:I have the vinyl Screens ant they work fine. I decided to go with the vinyl so the shop would not be so dark, and since I teach 4-H welding, I can still see the kids. It works just fine, but does not protect others from eye arc burns.
Reply:They had vinyl curtains at one of the classes I took, the instructor watched through them all the time.  They were something like this material:http://www.sprayboothfilters.net/Page_36x.htmlI don't think you have to make the curtains very tall, if you watch your  grind angle, etc.  -- keeps the ventilation flowing.  I am thinking of making some about 4 or 5 feet high, but tight to the floor, similar to what Moran did (nice idea!).
