Looking at this on craigslist. Seller advertises it as "Miller welding machine". Wow, couldn't have guessed. I e-mailed but was just curious if someone could identify this and let me know if I'm wasting my time. Thanks
Reply:Wild guess here but that looks like a DialArc 250 maybe
Reply:I would agree we had some of these at a place I worked at years ago and they were older than dirt then. If your buying be carful could be a great welder or a great boat anchor. Steel Thunder Welding LLC. St. Thomas VI USAMM350PBOBCAT 3MAXSTAR 150 STH375 EXTREME PLASMA6.5 HP COMPRESORDEWALT 18, 24, AND 36 VOLTO/A TORCH SETAND SO MUCH MORE I DONT REMEMBERALL IN MY 2005 2500HD EXTENDED CAB L/B
Reply:I agree, Dialarc. Good industrial machine, no way you can kill it. I use a Lincoln Idealarc at a customers, it must have 10,000 pounds of rods through it and still welds great.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:yea thats a dialarc, they made an AC only model that aint worth buying. but judging by the fact that looks like it has 4 hookups I think thats the AC/DC Model. good stuff I've used a few, simple and reliable.I like to party!
Reply:Just going to wait on an e-mail back from the guy. Hes selling that and what appears to be an older-than-dirt Lincoln HF box with torch and cables. Knowing the "deals" around these parts, he wants 9 grand... We'll see...

Reply:Better than spending 800 on a 500 dollar truck and destroying it for no reason though, right? |
