Does anyone know of a welding supply store open on Sundays that is in the greater Seattle area? I ran out of argon tonight at about 1:00AM, and I need to finish a project (safari rack for a Subaru wagon) for my buddy before he heads back to Spokane tonight. Reply:Bummer! Got some SMAW electrodes?I've heard that SOME Home Depots in SOME parts of the US are starting to carry selected gases from Praxair, but other than that, I can't think of any other ideas...
Reply:yeah, I do have a pile of electrodes kickin' around, so I will just have to stick it. Oh well. Thanks man "Ask not for whom the bone bones, it bones for thee" - Bender

Reply:Well, how did you make out? Is it on the road?
Reply:I ended up sticking it, and with the "Adaptive Hot Start" feature of my maxstar 150 stl, i ended up spending more time patching blown out holes than actually welding...I am picking up some argon today (a much bigger bottle this time), and will have it finished tonight or tomorrow. I will post up some pictures when its done. "Ask not for whom the bone bones, it bones for thee" - Bender |
