Wish I had been smart (talented) enough to work jobs like that when putting myself through college.  I had some internships, but didn't get as much out of it as I should have.  Now I just have to make sure my 6 yo gets enough experience so he can do stuff like this before/during/after/instead of college.Make sure you cash in on the "internship" part of the offer, so it is not just another job.  Obviously participating in the fabrication and welding is applicable to your Welding Engineering Technology degree, but try to talk your way into seeing how they handle contracting and costing, as well as design work.  Looks like an interesting place to work.Tim

Reply:congrats. I would feel lucky to get the offerAs said by CHENRY:you cant weld on a thingamajig like that. are you even certified to do thingamajig welding ? I once saw an improperly welded thingamajig fail and eleventy twelvoteen things got ballywhacked. I dont think i would risk it.
