Reply:Did you read the label on the new gas bottle?Does the machine have recommended settings? What machine are you using?DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Could be a bad bottle. It has happened before. Did you check the gun lead to make sure their are no damaged spots. Also what is your flow rate at. Should only be 20 to 30. You may have more pressure in the tank which might increase the flow rate to much for your regulator setting.Miller DVI2Lincoln Precision Tig 225Thermodynamics Cutmaster 38Everything else needed.

Reply:Hello and welcome to the forum. My guess is it's the wrong gas and check the label. As others have suggested, too much flow or a leak could also cause the issues, but since it worked before well I assume and now dosen't, I'd look at a bad bottle of gas.
Reply:thanks for all the help guys ill double check the label on the bottleif im welding mild steel is it correct to use 25% co2 and 75% argon
