I'm looking at a used Maxstar 150 STL to supplement my Miller Sidekick for thicker material. I'd primarily use it for stick but would like to learn Tig at some point. Does anyone know the maximum thickness I could expect to weld in a single pass on mild steel? If it's something like 1/4" I'll probably keep pushing my Sidekick. Thanks for any input.
