Hi, Does anyone know the manufacturer of this vise. It has #3 on it and Patented in 1891. Willmantic Conn. Thanks Greg. Attached Images
Reply:Probably the William Vanderman Co.  Take a look at the old incorporation filings in that state.  It might give you a clue as to whether the co. was actually incorporated under state law.  It might have been a sole proprietorship, and I don't know how'd you find info on that.  Maybe tax records."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
