Not sure if this is the right place to put this but here it goes:I have been welding off and on since I was 16. I am a Military Policeman in the ARNG. I am trying to decide if I should stick to welding or pursue a law enforcement career. I like weldind and doing welding projects. I like the aspect also of law enforcement. I just wanna have a good paying job that I can provide for me and my family one day when that time comes. I know this is rather vague but any comparison's or contrast would be awesome as well as what everyone thinks. Thanks, Jo
Reply:Take the security of the law enforcement job, and weld on the side for fun/ projects. If you find yourself in a position of having more work than you can easily handle, SBA loans are a breeze for police/ fire workers to get. Start a small shop if you dare; it beats just trying to start a small shop with not much to fall back on.And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return. |
