Hello and an alloy question

Hello guys, i've been lurking for a while and finally have a question.For one of my engineering classes i have to give a presentation on copper and its alloys.My question is where can i find some information on copper alloys. specifically how they are classified and the numbering system. any help would be great, thanks guys.

Reply:For an Engineering class, you say...  Is this in a traditional academic environment (bricks-and-mortar school facilities) or correspondence (mail order) school?If of the bricks-and-mortar variety I would go to the school library.  If they are teaching engineering classes I would expect to find a full set of ASTM standards manuals. Reply:Brent 5631,I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I doubt that you were given this assignment unprepared. If you can't find these resources on your own then you need to ask for your money back from the school. I would also suggest that no further help be given for this persons homework assignment.
