Reply:Aluminum is TIG welded on AC with the high freq on continuously. It helps maintain the arc. Steels are welded on DC were High freq is just use to start the arc. Ok there is scratch and touch start TIG but they are unsuitable for aluminum.Tough as nails and damn near as smart
