need some drive rollers for a Lincholn mig

Anybody know of a good place to order some welder parts?We do not have a welding supply store in St Thomas and HomeDepo only has a few tips not much else.
Reply:Well, there are many but you can get better help by telling us what machine you have and what parts you need.  It's always a good start to obtain the manual for the machine and reference specific part numbers.  If you don't have a manual with parts breakdown check at www.lincolnelectric.com.  There may even be some dealers watching who may be able to help you.  Lincoln's website can probably also direct you to a email order source of parts.Good luck.awrightLast edited by awright; 02-02-2009 at 01:44 AM.

Reply:Small world!  A couple of years ago I picked up a Lincoln Weld-Pak 155 at a surplus auction at a local university.  I also wanted to get wire drive rolls for different wire sizes.  My local welding supply store could not provide the parts, saying that the Weld-Pak series was specifically created to sell through Home Depot and they use special parts not distributed through normal welding supply channels.  The rolls he had for the regular commercial equivalent welder model would not fit.  How's that for cute marketing?  I notice that when you click on "Where to Buy" on the Lincoln page for your welder you go directly to a Home Depot site. I never did find replacement rolls but seem to have no difficulty using the single pair of rolls for different wire sizes.  Fortunately, my acquisition was from all appearances brand new so I hope not to have to find parts for a long time.Are the rolls you want in your gun or in the Weld-Pak?  I would recommend communicating directly with Lincoln Tech Support if they are in the Weld-Pak.Good luck.  Let us know how it works out and where I can obtain parts, when necessary.awright
