Reply:there good but i dont think i would buya machine that dont work
Reply:The Hypertherm Powermax190C is a 12 Amp output chopper based plasma with a built in air compressor. It will operate on a 120 volt 20 Amp circuit.Maximum cutting thickness is about 3/16"...at a relatively slow speed. This unit is designed for portable plasma cutting for sheet metal....roofing, HVAC contarctors, auto body work, etc. It really is not designed for use in a weld/fabricating shop that plans to cut heavier material....as it just won't do it.As far as repair.....I would research what is really wrong with the unit. There are a couple of thermal switched in this unit....but generally they do not fail...rather they indicate that something else has failed!Jim Colt
Reply:i have a hypertherm 190c that is two years old and has been used 3 times im selling for 500
Reply:IT NEEDS A TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACED AND IT WILL WORK GREAT AGAIN.JUST DON'T HAVE TIME TO FOOL WITH ITI did all the trobleshooting but ran out of time to fix it??????? I would pass on it unless you know what the problem is and what it will take to fix it.
