I just recently bought one of these helmets and haven't got to use it yet, but I was reading the literature that came with it, and it says that you shouldn't weld in the overhead position using that hood.

Reply:I think they don't want us using them for overhead welding because the cover lens is just plastic/lexan, I don't know if it could stop a healthy glob from damaging the lens.Yup
