Anyone have information or opinion on this welder? (I have never even heard of Airco) There is one for sale locally for $400.00 , welder only. I haven't seen it but have been told everything works. The thing weighs almost 1000 lbs, which scares abit. I am primarily interested in using it as DC SMAW but the TIG option would be nice later.Any feedback would be appreciated.
Reply:Airco was around for a long time many years ago. I think some of their machines were made by Miller. That big machine is a tank but will probly still be working long after we're all dead. I bet it has a nice smooth stick arc too.
