Can I weld these two pieces of steel together. The yellow is around 20 gauge automotive sheet metal, the blue is 16 gauge, both pieces are flat. I have already glued them together with JB ColdWeld. I just want weld along two sides of the blue piece without breaking them apart. Will the glue mess it up?Thanks.
Reply:You won't be able to weld if there is JB Weld in the way. If you have no epoxy where you want to weld, you should do okay, if you have the appropriate process for thin material. |
