Does anyone know if a tank that had helium be refilled with a mig gas or gas mixture? I have a empty tank that had helium in it and would like to get it filled with 75-25 for a mig.
Reply:I swap tanks between Argon for carbon steel and Tri-Mix for stainless steel. Tell your supplier about the previous tank contents. Reply:You won't have a problem. Both use a CGA-580 valve.You'll just need a new sticker listing the new contents.
